It's evident at Loyola that our students have a solid dedication to creating ways to serve those less fortunate and make our community a better place. In a recent explosion of altruism, the world of fashion has taken a turn for the better, and in-demand designers famous throughout all parts of the planet are creating enviable garments and accessories that have stand-out style and help to raise money for those in need.

At Loyola, style correlated with a charitable cause is an ideal combination, so here are a few of the chicest fashion items I've discovered that are both fabulous and philanthropic.

Celebrity fashion icons have recently been sporting a stylish Signorelli tank top that helps to raise money for the Children's Health Fund. CHF is dedicated to making health care accessable to underserved children all over the nation and with the implementation of ground-breaking medical programs are reaching their goals with astounding success.

The Signorelli Children's Health Fund Tank is retailed at popular Los Angeles shopping mecca Kitson, but it's also readily available to purchase online at www.ShopKitson.com. Perfect to pair with a structured blazer for the fall season a la Nicole Richie, the top costs $65 with $5 from each purchase being directly donated to children in need of medical attention native to underdeveloped regions throughout the United States.

This trendy tank is offered in both black and navy blue, and it's composed of 100% natural cotton. So it's something to consider wearing when you're in the mood to go to class looking comfortably chic.
Similar to the Children's Health Fund, The United Nations World Food Programme has begun its own charitable fashion movement with its creation of the effortlessly fabulous FEED bag. Designed by Honorary United Nations Spokesperson Lauren Bush, this tote is ideal if you're looking for something unexpected you can use throughout the entire fall season to lug your many heavy textbooks around campus.
