Led by arguably their best offensive output of the season, Loyola defeated Rider 70-63 on Friday, Feb. 5 at Alumni Gym in Lawrenceville, N.J. The Hounds ended the game with five of their players scoring in double figures. Among them, was senior guard Brett Harvey who scored 15 points and was three-for-five from deep.
Women's team drops one to St. Peter's, then ends losing streak with win over Canisius

Redemption can seem the sweetest at the most unlikely times.
The Loyola Women's basketball squad found their redemption by snapping their five-game losing streak by taking down the Golden Griffins 72-71 in an overtime thriller in Buffalo.
The Hounds were able to capture their fifth win in the MAAC conference by putting together a game-winning layup from veteran Kaitlin Grant with 4 ticks left on the clock.

This weekend, an atmosphere that is common on most university campuses will make its annual appearance at Loyola. A sold-out, raucous crowd will be on hand at the Mangione Aquatic Center for the MAAC swimming championships, and both the men's and women's swim teams are preparing in a way that confirms the importance of the task at hand.
