As the Loyola campus spent the weekend snowed in, wondering if a candy-run to Royal Farms would result in frostbite, and tried every possible snow-related excuse not to do homework or laundry, I think this is the perfect time to reflect on one of the hot-button issues of our time: global warming.

If you haven't been living under a rock for the past week or so, then you know that last Tuesday brought us the premiere of the final season of "Lost." And what a premiere it was! From parallel timelines to hidden temples (seriously though, where did that Aztec-looking thing come from?), the producers of "Lost" did not fail to bring their A-game when kicking off the beginning of the end.

I chose St. Valentine, the patron saint of lovers, the legendary romantic whose name would forevermore be associated with the date February 14.

Who thought someone could be so vicious while armed only with a spoon? The senior game "Mafia Wars" brought out the worst in people. Those competing gave in to the Dark Side. They stalked people outside the FAC, creeped in their hallways and lurked behind them on the Quad.
