"Let's roll." That's what Todd Beamer said to his fellow passengers on United Flight 93 exactly four days and eight years ago. In two words, one man rallied a cabin of men and women to stand against terrorists bent on piloting an aircraft to aid in the destruction of innocent lives.

Hey. Miller Time is over.
It's interesting when you've been abroad for a year like I have. I know. A year. Sounds frightening and exotic all at the same time. When I first told my friends I would be spending it in Belgium, the second question I got (the first being "What the hell do you expect to do in Belgium?") was "Aren't you going to miss Loyola?"
And I always responded the same way.

During finals week last semester, those of us lucky enough to scrape up a meal between cramming for finals and packing suitcases were treated to the welcomed surprise of $2 burritos from Salsa Rico. I ate those suckers two at a time, wood-chipper style. Every time I heard the familiar ting of "picosowcreeeam," my lips quivered in excitement.

Thumbs Up:
To the construction in the bookstore. Thanks for giving me a valid excuse for not buying my textbooks!
Moes...Welcome to Loyola!
To short girls. Apparently Tyra thinks we can all be "America's Next Top Model."
Thumbs Down:
To whoever thought redoing the bookstore two weeks into the school year was a good idea.
