The Loyola Men's Soccer program has been filled with success over the past two years, and this year looks to be no different for the program. Tabbed as the preseason champion of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, and garnering a national ranking of 15, the team has a lot to live up to this year.

Women's Volleyball starts season on rough slide

By Brian Hungarter Staff Writer The Loyola women's volleyball team struggled in their first tournament of the season, the Duquesne/Robert Morris Tournament, dropping all four of their matches in Pittsburgh, PA. In their first contest Saturday, the Hounds lost 3-1 (10-25, 18-25, 15-25) to tournament host Duquesne University in the Dukes' home gym.

Loyola was able to snap this three-year streak with a strong effort from their back line, ensuring that the Hounds would need only one goal to win this contest.
